It was now time to bid goodbye. Though they had stayed on the Nekaku island for only a few days, Ruth felt like she was leaving Vincardine all over again. She had a great time here with the Dragon House. The members were not only respectful but also kind and warm toward them.
Ruth pulled Aspen in a hug, smiling at her. "Thank you for everything Aspen! I hope to see you again soon." She told her truthfully.
Aspen was a bit taken aback by Ruth's open invitation for a hug. After all, human or not, she was a mate of the werewolf leader, the future Luna of the werewolf breed. And Aspen was just another member of the Dragon House. They were poles apart in the woman's eyes.
But she was touched by Ruth's sincerity and friendliness.
Smiling back at Ruth, she replied. "I hope so too, Lady Ruth. I hope you are leaving Nekaku Island with great memories and a content heart."
"Yes, I am!"
