"I don't care who this king is! But I love her and she is mine!"
That statement from Edwin made the little girl angry, and she hit him again on the leg. Rees and Kevin's laughter died, and when Ruth noticed Edwin's jaw ticking, she too gulped in nervousness.
She was about to interrupt but stopped when she heard the girl threaten Edwin.
"You are rude!"
"I never denied it!"
"Edwin! What are you doing? She is just a kid." Ruth tried to stop him.
"A kid who just hit me twice!" He said darkly.
"Thrice!"The girl said before hitting him again.
Their attention was distracted when they saw a couple running toward them with panic written on their faces. Ruth recognised the couple as the girl's parents. As soon as the girl noticed her mother, her confidence swelled even more.
"Mother, mother take me to the King. I want to complain about this man. He touched the queen." She complained to her mother and hit Edwin for the fourth time on his leg.
