"Lord Edwin, come out!"
"We want answers!"
"Where is the ship?"
Zoe rushed to the balcony that faced the main gates of the manor. The loud cries of the aggravated crowd reached the interior parts of the manor, loud and clear.
She saw everyone already present there, watching the crowd. She was the only one late, it seemed.
She went to stand beside Raynold, given that that was the only space available for her. He threw her a sideways glance, before directing his attention back to what happened in front of him.
"What did I miss?" She asked in a whisper.
He again glanced at her from the corners of his eyes.
"Nothing important than your hairstyle."
"Raynold!" She hissed in irritation.
He sighed before answering seriously. "I don't understand how these people found out Edwin's arrival. But now they want to meet him and know what happened with the ship."
Zoe looked around in confusion. "But where is Edwin?"
Raynold sighed, gripping the railings in his hands. "We don't know."
