Eloise stared at Harold with wide eyes that were full of surprise, but once she got over it, those eyes blazed only in anger. She picked up her pace again and walked past him.
"Lady Eloise?" Harold called, but she didn't stop.
With no other choice in hand, Harold began chasing after her. With his long strides, he fell into steps with her.
"Lady Eloise, I want to talk."
"But I don't!" She spat angrily.
"I know but you have to listen to me. At least give me chance to explain myself. Please stop!" He tried to reach for her hand, but she pulled it away before his fingers touched her.
"People are watching!" She hissed in annoyance.
"I don't care!"
"But I do."
She increased her speed even more after noticing how close she was to her chamber. Once she would be inside, she would get him off her back.
