Elsie and Lester were not only amazed but also excited to see what happens next as Lester then reached for the sixth book in the third row. He pulled it out too and again the book didn't come out of the shelf completely.
Repeating the same for the next two books, he finally stepped back, waiting for some miracle to happen. But when nothing happened even after a whole minute, he groaned and kicked the base of the shelf with his foot in anger, cursing.
But that did that trick, and Elsie's face brightened up when she heard the similar grinding sounds as before.
Lester was surprised as he checked his foot before looking up to hear a sound as if something had slid away. Frowning he tried to look around, but Elsie smacked the back of his head before pulling him down on his knees.
"Ouch! You should stop doing that mate!" He grumbled, rubbing his head.
Elsie tsked, ignoring his complaints as she leaned forward to see a small gap that hid behind the books in the sixth row shyly.
