Zoe could feel the wetness of Lisa's blood on her back. They still needed some time to reach Vincardine as Zoe had to stop on the way near a spring. Lisa's body was dehydrated, and without water, she could have barely made it through, so Zoe helped her drink some water from the spring.
In an attempt to make some conversation, Zoe kept asking Lisa about her life and the past one year of her life that she had spent with Darius. And with every detail, her heart pained for the unfortunate human.
When Lisa told her about her parents and how coldly Darius murdered them right in front of her eyes, Zoe was beyond just shocked.
If only Zoe had any idea about it before, then she herself would have killed Darius when he met her in Synchena.
