Ruth understood that Darius had fooled Florence just like he fooled Ruth by giving her a fake identity. Florence had no idea who she was dealing with and what he wanted from her. She was just a pawn in Darius Garfield's game.
"Who helped you to get those roses to me, Florence?" Ruth asked.
