Ruth spend some more time in her room after Edwin left as she felt emotionally and mentally drained out. She wished her life would never go back to normal but then as she gave it a detailed thought, she realised it was never normal in the first place.
The only difference between then and now was her awareness of the things.
She heard a knock on the door, which brought her back to reality. Forcing herself out of the bed, she went to open the door only to see the face she was not expecting to see today.
"Laila?"
The young girl smiled brightly and then bowed her head. "Good morning, Luna!"
"Good morning," Ruth replied, still surprised. "Please come in." She said.
Laila shook her head. "Pardon Luna but you haven't taken breakfast yet. Please, sister Thea and sister Ida, are waiting for you along with Lady Elsie."
