Ida sat in the bed with bandages here and there. The scratches and other small wounds have recovered by now because of her healing powers. Lester insisted on speaking with Ida the moment she opened her eyes.
But Edwin refused. He knew she must be going through the same trauma as Ruth because she had also lost a friend. Edwin did not want to overwhelm her and thus decided to give her some time to digest the reality.
As soon as Edwin entered the room, everyone straightened up and bowed. Lester rushed to take the only chair available. Elsie, who was already there with Ida, glared at him, to which he just shrugged innocently.
Edwin ignored his friend and stood at some distance from Ida. Crossing his hands behind his back, he looked at Ida.
"How are you feeling now Ida?" He asked.
Although his tone was gentle and his face a clean slate, everyone could feel the fear coming from her wolf. Her wolf whimpered, and she cast her eyes down. Tears gathered at the corners of them.
