Edwin awkwardly stood outside the old building waiting for that person who could help him sort out his sour mood. He was not sure if it was a good idea, but he had already sent a message to that person.
Edwin sighed as his mind was clouded with numerous things. He watched the sky that had begun turning dark as the night approached fast. The flocks of the birds were chirping while returning to their nests.
"I did not expect you to call me at this time." He heard the familiar voice from behind and turned to face the person who slowly walked in his way.
"Pardon for the inconvenience Mrs Payne. I hope you have some time in your hands for me." Edwin said as she came to stand near him.
She observed him carefully to notice how tensed his shoulders were. And the fine lines of worry on his face indicated that something was bothering him.
"Are you going to ask me for a coffee or something?" She raised her brow.
Edwin smiled. "If only I had met you before Mrs Payne, then I might have."
