Ruth came to this neighbouring village of Vincardine with Edwin and the party to meet their mentor from the Academy. The old house and ill-conditioned garden around it did not feel pleasant to Ruth.
She waited anxiously for the door to open. Someone peeked through the small slit on the door. Confirming the faces of the visitors, the person closed it immediately. Ruth heard the creaking sound of the door as it was slowly opened.
Ruth saw a woman and was blown away at her sight. The woman looked like she was in her late fifties. But after knowing the supernatural world by bits, Ruth doubted if she was under a hundred or over the hundred years old.
The woman wore a different kind of dress which Ruth had never seen before, nor did the woman's facial features seem familiar to her.
