"Harold, I am not in a mood of entertaining you. I am here to get some answers and you MUST give them to me." Eloise declared, keeping her confidence intact.
Harold tilted his head, not breaking eye contact with her. "You said you have heard everything."
"Yes but there are many things that are not clear to me."
He remained silent, fuelling Eloise's annoyance. Her heart was doing crazy things in her chest, and her mind was running uncontrollably in only one direction and at the end of that way was Harold.
"What my father did years ago?"
Harold tensed considerably yet maintained a straight face, not replying to Eloise.
"What did he do to ruin Brother Edwin's life? I don't want to know about Theodora. I know what she has done over the years.
I want to know what my father has done. And... how it is linked with my m-mother?" Eloise's voice came thick with emotions as she mentioned her mother.
