Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

" You're...beautiful, you know that? "

His fingers traced my bruised arms, I flinched as his fingers landed on the most recent bruise ,his eyes held fatal look of pity.

I clutched my jaws tight at his duality, how terribly I wanted to strangle him.

How terribly I wanted to 'escape. Trying to pry his hand off me I steped back.

"I'm sorry" he mumbled , my eyes shot through him. Did I just hear him-he just did not say those words, did he?.

Trying to find mockery in his eyes but finding none, I sucked in a long breath... he- he just-

" We're getting late  let's go".

His eyes changed, suddenly I saw sadness in his ruthless eyes.

" Winter... Let's go?". He said bringing me back from my trance, I shut my eyes tight thinking that his eyes did not just scream fear and maybe even sadness.

I opened my eyes just to meet his adoring eyes, his lips curved into a smile.

I widened my eyes and stumbled on my stance, he held me straight and worry evidently shot in his face.

"Winter are you alright? You want me to cancel the date? You seem-".

" No- ...I-" I abruptly stopped him, cutting him mid sentence.

He noded his head and took my hand . How could this man show such care when it was just yesterday that he man was enjoying my distress. Naked ,with ropes tearing off my tissues.

This man who now showed the pitiful eyes, just yesterday was recording my distress.

I couldn't believe him but I knew if I did not do as he pleased, tomorrow would bring me to lifeless state .

He walkedvtowards the door and I followed suit , I wanted to slap myself hard for following this man's orders. For I cared about my life, I couldn't help but follow his orders.

After a long was I out of the the dark room, lights blinded my sight for seconds.

Outside of the dark dungeon that I was locked upon, the house screamed luxury. The floor was made up of expensive marbles, it had a wooden feel to it with the colors blending between brown and ash grey.

Though the house was not so decorative... yet it had the necessary items for it to show that the making was looked up at.

I was kept in the farthest of all the rooms, it was secluded but once was admirable. The staircase lead to a large hall, he was holding my hand and was leading the way.

The sound made by my heels echoed through the walls. The walls were painted ash with few contored colors, the house had a vintage yet modern feel to it.

The one thing caught that my eyes was that there were no cobwebs.

For the past few months of my life here ,I had never seen a life buzzing around except for him.... Maybe the workers- could it be possible that the workers could help me out escape?

But that sounded impossible.

Could I get away from this?.

" Winter? What's wrong? You don't wa-"

I jolted up on hearing him say something, I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't realize I had stopped on my tracks.

I looked up to him and he still had a concerned look. What was this man up to? I shook away my thoughts and walked down the stairs to the hall, a fresh scent engulfed my senses.

It was fresh air that brought the scent , I felt weak on my knees. It had been long since I had breathed fresh air.

'I was going out....on a date, maybe I could escape from there?'

"Do you think that she's going to wake up any soon?"

"I don't know..."

I groaned as I tried to open my eyes and adjust to the light, on finally being able to eye the surrounding I profusely blinked for a while to get a clear view.

"Hey! you're awake!" a soft voice said . I tried to sit up straight, but a hand helped me up.

I looked up to see a girl smiling at me, with puffed cheeks as she whispered " Here let me help"

I took a good look at the girl . She had long and pink hair, before I could observe her little more a voice of a man was heard behind her.

"Oh! She's awake!" He said, his eyes squinting as he smiled.

He was a well built man, probably in his early thirties. His hair was perfectly gelled, he was wearing a button up white polo and formal pants.

A sudden realization strucked me, they were strangers. Panic flowled through my veins. I clutched the duvet tight over my cold skin.

Seemingly noticing my panic state, the pink haired moved to console me.

" Hey, it's okay. You don't have to be afraid of

us " shes said with thick accent laced to her tone.

I turned my head to see the man was gone. The pink haired whispered, her voice as smooth as honey.

" Here, drink some water "

I noded and took the glass of water, gulping down the content in one breath.
