Chapter 100 - Episode 34 : The Last Move – Chapter 1

They returned to the ruined temple at Anxin Chun. Liuxin asked Yuzhi Shi Wu members to take care of Xiu-er and treat her injuries while the others then built a fireplace and sat around it to chat. Lao Diaoyan and Lao Guishou buried the bodies of Huang Zhe's victims on the bank of the river.

"You don't want to chase that person, but he still carries the xuanlong sword, at least let me go find his track," Ma Yongtao again asked Jinshui, "I am the head of Liangshan Liu Mo, not related to your Yumen Sect. I can go after him and leave a mark for you, make sure Huang Zhe doesn't get far. The next day, all you have to do is step in with him, all matters are settled."

"No need," Jinshui said briefly. He sat cross-legged on the grass, concentrating there for a while, and a moment later pulled a needle out of his waist. The needle was as thin as a silk thread. It was Xie Tianhu's signature secret weapon that Huang Zhe had added poison to.

Ma Yongtao and the others then also witnessed how Jinshui easily removed the poison of that secret needle from inside his body. For a moment a thin smoke came out of the waist, Jinshui showed a bluish color on the finger of his hand that touched the needle, but the blue color soon seemed to evaporate and completely disappeared.

"The eighth part of wuqing xue is extraordinary," Ma Yongtao praised sincerely, "I'm Liangshan Mojun, this lifetime can still witness it and still be fine here, really have no regrets."

"Jinshui, do you really let my brother go today?" Huang Yu asked Jinshui, simultaneously giving him some dried food and a small pot of wine. "He might take the next twenty hours to his own benefit, and it might not be good for us."

"Just a day, won't make much of a difference," Jinshui replied calmly, took the wine from his hand, and drank it. "I also want to see how he will use this one day."

"Someone's coming." Liao Xian suddenly said. "There are dozens of people."

They sat quietly around the fire, unfazed by the approaching horsemen. From the looks of it all, it was obvious that they weren't local residents, nor were they people of the martial world, but were soldiers of the country. At the forefront was a stout old man in his sixties, looking fierce on his black horse.

Liuxin was the one who worried. Some time ago when she left Baiyu Shan, she had once refused her prince father's envoy who wanted to take her back to the capital. If this army group was also Xianjing Wang's emissary to pick her up, then there would at least be an uproar.

Jinshui and Huang Yu stood up while Liuxin remained in place. She was determined to become part of Yumen, not wanting to return to her father just to be betrothed to Huan Jiaozheng's son.

"Are you Yumen Jiao people?" The army leader dismounted from his horse and immediately asked Jinshui and Huang Yu, his tone was firm but still somewhat friendly. "Mojiang came here to see Liuxin Junzhu. I don't know if she is with you."

Liuxin stood up and rushed forward. That man was looking for her so she also didn't want to hide and let Jinshui get in trouble.

"I'm Liuxin," she said. "What do Yuanshuai (Commander) ask me for?"

"Liuxin!"

The old commander had not yet given an answer, from the back of his small troop a young man, also wearing a troop uniform with a cap covering his head, immediately run to Liuxin and removed the cover of his head. His voice was familiar to Liuxin, as well as to the other descendants, startling them immediately.

"Yue Dage."

That young man was indeed Yue Songdai, the sixth disciple of Liangtian Jian Shen and Liuxin's lover. He was thrown from one of the cliffs in Wansui Gu by Qingyi some time ago and presumed dead. Liuxin had searched for him down the cliff and did not find his body, only a shoe which was later found. Unexpectedly Yue Songdai suddenly appeared here, delivered by an old commander.

Yue Songdai hugged Liuxin tightly, Liuxin also returned the hug regardless of the glances of Jinshui and the others.

"My job is only to deliver this Yue Shaoxia to Liuxin Junzhu," the old commander said to Jinshui. "We found him some time ago, injured, and suffered some broken bones. When he woke up, he kept saying he wanted to find Liuxin Junzhu. It was only with great difficulty that we managed to convince him to recover first, as well as eliminate the poison in his body."

"We thank Ti Yuanshuai," Li Qian who said to the old commander, seemed to recognize him as an old acquaintance.

"Li Gongzi is here too," the old commander said. "Greetings from me to your father."

The old commander did not mince words for too long, immediately returned to his horse, and left with his men. Yue Songdai only let go of his girlfriend when they all left, Liuxin then invited him to sit by the fireplace. The others also sat back and roasted the wild animals brought out by Yuzhi Shi Wu members.

"Yue Dage, that time I looked for you down that cliff, but couldn't find you," Liuxin said to Yue Songdai, "how come you are still alive and looking for me all the way to this place?"

"I also don't know how I didn't fall directly under that cliff and turned into pieces there," Yue Songdai explained. "When that purple-dressed woman threw me down the cliff my hands and feet were still bound and I couldn't do anything at all. I just remember, when I realized I was still up in the tree, the bottom of the cliff was quite far down there, my head hurt, and my whole body ached too."

"That time you had leiying hua poison in your body," said Liuxin, "just like some of us. The antidote in Wansui Gu wasn't much and we almost lost our lives."

She glanced at Ma Yongtao as she spoke, apparently still holding some grudges with the second member of Liangshan Liu Mo, who at that time had made things even more difficult for them. Ma Yongtao was about to protest something but Zhu Baique grabbed his hand in a hurry.

"Ma Yongtao, maybe Jinshui and the others didn't want to talk about what happened in Wansui Gu, but I still haven't considered it with you until now." Qin Liangjie suddenly stood up and said to Ma Yongtao. "You kept following Wu Furen in Baiyu Shan, I couldn't do anything to you then. But here you don't have your master protecting you. Now there is also another good friend who was once a victim of your cruelty. My son's death, how will you explain?"

"Your son was already poisoned when he was taken to Wansui Gu," Zhu Baique answered, "After all that day it was Zu Ye Niang who disguised herself as me, and recently she has also been punished by Laofuren."

"Zu Ye Niang and the other demons have already been punished, what about him?" asked Qin Liangjie, pointing at Ma Yongtao. "He didn't get the chance to taste that silver worm poison."

"Then what do you want?" Ma Yongtao stood up, facing Qin Liangjie regardless of Zhu Baique trying to restrain him. "Your ability isn't even as good as Que-mei, when do you want to antagonize the whole world to account for your son's death?"

"Qin-xiong," Jinshui quickly reprimanded, "Everything that happened in Wansui Gu was because of Qingyi, the daughter of your master, even Zu Ye Niang at that time didn't know the secret needle she used contained poison."

"Qingyi," Qin Liangjie also knew that everything that happened in Wansui Gu was Qingyi's arrangement, "Back then you caught Qingyi, why didn't you hand her over to me, instead of having someone escort her to leave Baiyu Shan alive?" he asked Jinshui.

"I've damaged her mind a little, at that moment made her feel more pain than commanded by Jinshui," Ma Yongtao said, "this still counts as avenging your son's death, isn't it?"

Qin Liangjie snorted in annoyance, then sat down without saying anything else. It was true that the one who harbored hatred for them was Qingyi, and it was also Qingyi who administered the leiying hua poison at that time. Ma Yongtao and the other members of Liangshan Liu Mo only joined in for the sake of seeing the abilities of Jinshui and the others. Then Qingyi couldn't commit any more crimes, Liangshan Liu Mo members also received quite a terrible punishment, one might say that everything was even.

Liuxin paid no heed to their bickering. She was dissatisfied that Jinshui didn't kill Qingyi and even let some men escort her back to the capital, but she couldn't say anything either. After all, Yue Songdai was still alive. She looked back at him, asking him to continue.

"I heard your voice calling, but I was still on top of that tree, stuck there and unable to move," Yue Songdai continued, "I tried to scream, but it seems my voice didn't reach you, before long I again felt everything was dark."

"I looked for you down the bottom of the cliff, why didn't I even think you were still stuck in some tree branches?" Liuxin asked regretfully. It seemed that she was in a panic and frantic state when she was trying to find Yue Songdai, not knowing that the person she was looking for was struggling to stay alive in a place not far away.

"I don't know how long after when I woke up, I saw several monkeys hanging, then the tree trunk I was on broke, and I fell down again," Yue Songdai continued. "But at that time I didn't feel any pain, I just remembered that everything was dark again, and when I woke up again I was already in a military camp. It was a soldier who found me and brought me to Ti Yuanshuai. They said I've been unconscious for three whole days."

"Then what about the poison in your body?" Liuxin asked. She saw how Xu Qiao was tormented day and night due to the effect of leiying hua poison. "How can some regular soldier cure the poison?"

"I wasn't poisoned," said Yue Songdai, "I had injuries, broken bones, I bruised everywhere, possibly some animal bites, but there was no deadly poison."

"Really?" Liuxin asked. She only remembered that time on the cliff Qingyi told Jinshui that she and Yue Songdai had been injected with leiying hua poison, but at that time things were chaotic, she also didn't know exactly what happened.

"And then how did you get here?" Qin Liangjie asked.

"I was still with Commander Ti and his men when I heard that the Yumen descendants were pursuing someone around here," Yue Songdai said, "I knew Liuxin must be here too, so I asked Commander Ti to take me to find you."

From Yue Songdai's story, apparently, Commander Ti didn't know that Xianjing Wang had ordered his men to take Liuxin back to the capital. He only escorted Yue Songdai to find the princess and then just left.

"Hua Jinshui."

Xiu-er came over. That little girl's injuries had already been treated by members of the Yuzhi Shi Wu, but she didn't want to go to sleep. She walked over to Jinshui and sat down not far from him. Huang Yu held out a snack for her and she accepted with a smile.

"Xiu-er, didn't you come with Xu Furen to Huofeng Lou?" Huang Yu asked the girl, "Why did you come here alone?"

"Who is Xu Furen?" Xiu-er asked back, "oh, that one-armed madam," she answered herself. "I don't like her. She took me to Yongjun Hui base in Nanyang City and joined by some ladies who were also unpleasant. They were talking about going against Hua Jinshui and it really made me uneasy."

Bao Xinfei was last known to be carrying out orders from her master Yuan Wancui to meet Huan Jiaozheng in Nanyang City for the next plan to gather strength against the Yumen descendants and block them from reviving their sect. It was not known whether she was still in Nanyang City or had gone elsewhere when Huan Jiaozheng did not accept Yuan Wancui's request and then had time to join the hunt for Liangtian Jian Shen's white steel fan.

"The one-armed madam then took me to a place called Huofeng Lou, she said because she had to be there for the commemoration of her husband's death, something like that," Xiu-er continued her story, "There were several elder brothers in Huofeng Lou. Actually, they are very kind to me, but then I heard them say Qiao Jiejie was dead, I didn't like hearing that, so I went and was about to look for you."

"Is Xu Furen still in Huofeng Lou right now?" asked Huang Yu.

"Perhaps," said Xiu-er, "I just left without saying goodbye. They also did not bother to look for me. Until then, I was caught by that brother who claimed to be surnamed Huang, he said he could take me to see Hua Jinshui."

"Why did you call him Hua Jinshui?" Liao Xian asked.

"The black sword that killed my twin sister Shuang-er was in his hands," Xiu-er said dryly, "I can't possibly call Hua Jinshui big brother."

"Why did you look for him then?" asked Lin Jixuan. "Do you want to take revenge on him?"

"Oh, I already had my revenge," Xiu-er replied, "I just want to see Qiao Jiejie. Qiao Jiejie was so kind to me, I couldn't believe it when the big brothers at Huofeng Lou said she was dead."

"Qiao-er is alive and well," Jinshui said, "after we are done dealing with Huang Zhe, I will take you to see her."
