Maverick didn't respond to her as he took her to the dining room and set up the table. He even pulled a chair for her. But whatever she's asking is not going to happen. He didn't want her to skip dinner because he rejected her. Although, he was eager to do it with her because she looked adorable while begging him to do it with her.
