Even it's late, Victoria saw Jacob in the parking lot. She hasn't filed a complaint about his actions since he's been keeping his distance. It's probably because of hectic works. But he at least called her ten times today to ask about a few files. Still, she felt stress since those files came from them. The man stared at her for a while with a smile that creeps her out. Anyway, the smile he gave was a simple one but he felt chills since that guy is some sort of maniac.
Her phone started ringing. She knew that it'll be her husband since he usually calls at this time.
"Love?" She got into her car after answering the call and locked it.
"Caleb will ride with us. I'm picking you up with a scooter since there's too much traffic from here."
"Oh, okay." She took a few of her things and came out of the car.
"I'm already in front of your company building." He said.
"I'll be down there." She mumbled and hung up.
