"Nangong Yao, even if I am not from a distinguished family like yours, at least I have manners. With so many people here, I will be the bigger person and let your rude comment slide just this once. This isn't your manor or your party, and so you have absolutely no say in who gets invited. If you have qualms with me being here, go complain directly to the fifth prince and see if he takes your side."
