They were mostly silent as they treated their wounds and wrapped up the injury with clean bandages. Yan Qiufeng spied Wang Jingyuan struggling to tie her bandage using one hand and her teeth. He extended his hand.
"Allow me."
"Thanks, Little General Yan." Wang Jingyuan gratefully watched his fingers deftly secure and tie the bandage. "I can tie yours for you if you want."
"Thank you, Miss Wang."
When she finished, Wang Jingyuan studied her handiwork and realized with a start that she had tied a bow. Her hands were too used to tying bows with her shoelaces, and muscle memory caused her to do the same with the two dangling ends of the young general's bandage. Who in their right mind ties a freaking bow with bandages?!
"I'm sorry, that bow should not be there—I'll redo it." She reached out, but Yan Qiufeng pulled his arm away.
"It's okay. The bow looks great."
