Du Jiahui was reading when He Tianhong came into her room. She immediately noticed his worried expression.
"Tianhong, is something wrong?"
"A messenger delivered this today." He held out a dark red envelope. Puzzled, Du Jiahui took it and read the message inside. Her eyes widened in shock.
"Shao Wenbo is marrying the Left Prime Minister's youngest daughter?!" Du Jiahui looked up in disbelief. "This can't be true. I thought he and Jing-Jing were dating!"
"This is an invitation to the wedding from the Left Prime Minister himself. I'm afraid this is true." He Tianhong sat down beside his girlfriend. "Look, they even sent one for Jing-Jing." He held out another identical envelope. Wang Jingyuan's name was written on the front in neat calligraphy.
Du Jiahui stared at the invitation, and then at He Tianhong. "When did they get engaged? Did you not hear anything about this in court?"
