After several weeks on the road, Wang Jingyuan finally saw the high walls of the Capital come into sight. She made a promise to learn horseback riding while she was in the Capital. Horse carriages, although more comfortable compared to horseback, moved too slowly for her. Oh, how she missed the cars and airplanes of the modern world!
As the carriage rumbled through the streets, Wang Jingyuan looked out the window at the busy and crowded boulevards. Compared with the quietness and rural nature of Xuanyan Sect, the Capital was much noisier and livelier. She didn't mind it though. There was so much to see, so much to do, and she was going to eat all of the good food the Capital had to offer!
