A week later, Wang Jingyuan had basically gotten used to life at Xuanyan Sect. Xiao-Wu would knock on her door every morning to wake her up, and then they would make their way to the courtyard for morning practice together. As hard as it was to get up in the early morning, the thought of having to run twenty laps up and down Xuanyan Mountain motivated Wang Jingyuan to get up as soon as she heard Xiao-Wu knock.

The pupils, Wang Jingyuan, and Liu Xiaochen slowly cleaned up Xuanyan Sect. There were no longer dead leaves covering the stone paths, and broken pieces of stone and wood were hauled away. The highlight of the week was that the cafeteria and kitchen were now cleaned and open for use again. This meant they could all finally eat real, home-cooked meals instead having to go buy buns or to-go meals from the village every day.
