Upon hearing Hyeon's last words, Hyun felt his mind going blank.
"Prince…? Grand Prince Anpyong's son? But… but that would make him Sejo's… nephew…" Hyun said in a faltering voice. He was desperately struggling to find reason and logic, but, in the end, he only became more muddleheaded instead.
Hyeon sighed deeply. He nodded and continued to speak resolutely.
"Not many people knew about it. Grand Prince Anpyong didn't like to involve himself in the business at court, preferring instead to stay at home and write or read. He liked books, peace and quiet. He wasn't a man who enjoyed gossip, nor did he particularly like to flaunt his happiness. Consequently, Jeong's existence remained a secret to most of the courtiers for the first five years of his life."
"Then how come there are people hunting him down?" Hyun inquired.
