"What are you doing? How can you agree to go with them?" Jung-Hee whispered urgently.
"It's safer." Hyun replied shortly, his voice low and mellow.
"But what if we are found out?"
"We won't." Hyun eventually turned towards her and placed a hand on her face. His thumb caressed her cheek gently. "If we stay with them, it will be easier to avoid the real soldiers out there. I don't think the King imagines us travelling with a group of smugglers." He paused, and then shot her a smile. "Aren't I smart?"
Seeing the smugness shooting out of his eyes, Jung-Hee felt helpless. What could she say? After all, what Hyun said made some sense. Perhaps as outlaws themselves travelling with another group of outlaws would be more beneficial to them. At least this way they could make sure to avoid any troublesome places.
Hence, she could only nod and pat her smart husband's chest.
