Two days later, Jun-Ho's curiosity got the best of him and he cornered Yoon-Yi as she was walking through the garden. Luckily, she seemed to be alone, which meant he could talk to her without being interrupted. However, as soon as he approached her, Shin appeared suddenly as if he had sprouted from the ground. Jun-Ho raised his perfect eyebrows at him, but Shin merely shrugged, looking impassive.
"Yoon-Yi, I want to talk to you." Jun-Ho said, looking away from Shin and fixing his light brown eyes on her face. "The other day, when you said the King is going to die, what did you mean by that?"
He looked at her expectantly and Yoon-Yi stared back, blinking in confusion. Then, she began to speak slowly, as if she was explaining things to a child.
"Jun-Ho, usually when people say someone is going to die, they mean just that. It means the person will… well die, cease to exist, give up his or her mortal body, the soul rising to…"
