Hyun and Jung-Hee both stiffened. What kind of tragic coincidence was this? How could this man almost guess it right from his first try? Though they were not actually criminals, his guess was rather too close to reality, making them dread what would happen the next moment.
Nevertheless, Hyun had been preparing himself for any possibility. Feeling Jung-Hee's tense body behind him, he carefully stretched a hand and touched her fingers gently. It was meant to give her comfort. Afterwards, he didn't falter, nor did he show any sign of fear as he stood tall and declared his innocence.
"I am not a criminal." He said loudly.
"What are you then and why are you wishing to ride this boat?" the bulky man asked, getting ready to pull out his sword again.
"I am just a man in love." Hyun shrugged.
