While all that was happening at the river bank, back at the campsite, Hyun was sneaking around the tents, trying to find an exit. Just as he was passing by a large tent, a pale, slender hand suddenly stretched out from behind the curtain. The five fingers latched onto Hyeon's arm, yanking at him forcefully. After he was dragged inside the tent, Hyeon stumbled a few steps before finally regaining his balance.
Even though he had been completely taken by surprise, he was still a trained warrior. Thus, he quickly found his footing. In one swift movement he grabbed ahold of the person who pulled at him, pinning them against a wooden rack located nearby. At the same time, he placed a small dagger in front of that person's neck.
Hyeon was afraid that person would start screaming for help, and so, he thought of covering their mouth with his free hand. However, the moment he raised his hand, and looked up at that person's face, he froze in place.
