King Sejo's eyebrows shot up in surprise. He had witnessed Yu Yeong trashing the Chief State Councillor's son like it was nothing. So, when he saw Jeong Hyeon-Jo turning to address him, he was sure the young man wanted to drop out of the competition. He hadn't expected that Jeong Hyeon-Jo's unwillingness to admit defeat would be so strong.
"What brought about this idea?" King Sejo inquired, shooting a suspicious glance towards Yu Yeong.
He couldn't help but remember what Yu Eung-Bu had said earlier, about his son being able to shoot a target with his eyes closed. However, no matter how he was stared at, the young man didn't betray anything on his face. He appeared calm and poised, almost as if he was bored.
"We thought that Your Majesty might feel bored if you only watched this little competition." Jeong Hyeon-Jo spoke nervously." So, we decided to try something special to please Your Majesty."
