The second Yu Eung-Bu's voice fell, everyone's movements halted. The guards turned their heads slowly, only to face their Commander's dark expression. His voice could freeze the waters of a lake, and his stare could cut through stone.
Out of everyone, only the man who was now kneeling on the ground didn't appear phased in the least by the Commander's imposing presence, nor his menacing appearance. Instead, as soon as he figured out who the newcomer was, his face lit up as though he had seen his savior.
"C-Commander Yu…" the man stammered, trying to get up from the ground.
But one of the guards quickly pushed him back down, growling a threat in an undertone.
"I asked you all a question." Commander Yu pressed, glancing between every single man gathered there.
"Commander, if I may." one of the soldiers stepped forward.
The man had beads of sweat on his forehead, but he braved his fears and continued to address the Commander.
