A little while earlier Yu Yeong was heading back to the Kisaeng house, when he heard sounds of fighting nearby. He decided to stop there and check out the situation before continuing on his way to find Jun and the others. That's when he saw two figures engaged in a brawl, while two others were fighting a little farther away.
Just as Yu Yeong was hesitating whether he should step forward or not, he heard a woman scream. At that moment any trace of hesitation disappeared and he decidedly picked up his bow and tucked an arrow in its place. Due to his exceptional eyesight he was able to make a clean shot, hitting one of the aggressors, followed by a second shot which took out the other man.
At the time when he made the decision to intervene, Yu Yeong still had no idea who he had saved. Only when he was standing in front of Hyun did he realize who the other person might be.
