Hawks was bowing towards Allen to get some rubs. He was family to them.
The ones who had been more disheartened by his disappearance were the twin sisters. They always used to play with Hawks as he at that time could easily lift them using his claws. They even cried when they found out the hawks was missing.
The red heads were petrified. They had never seen a beast in their life and this beast standing in front of them was very majestic. They were scared as they did not know much about hawks but were still mesmerized by the situation.
Kira, Rinka and their kids who were still near the house could see them far away were also shocked. Rinka was the one who was most scared as she was worried about her children.
" .. Is that ...? "
" Mommy ! mommy ! Hawks is back. He is back " Katie screamed as she and Annie started running towards them. Kiara also was surprised and started running behind them.
Hawks saw them coming towards them and looked towards Allen asking for permission.
"Sure Hawks go get them, they really missed you "
Hawks nodded and immediately started to flap his wings to go towards them. He was huge but still very fast and created a strong wind when he launched him self up in the air. As he reached near them with Katie the first one to use rage aura a little and jumped to hug Hawks. She had been able to that easily without even having to concentrate.
His feathers were very soft and the kids liked hugging him a lot. Annie soon came closer as hawks had already reached the ground and gave him a tight hug.
" Where were you, we really missed you a lot. You never told us when you were going. We waited for you every day but came back after so long." Katie said with a little teary eyes. He was like a little brother to them. they even used to end up sleeping with him many times.
" hmmm me miss you " Annie gave her usual short reply with a tight hug
'I wanted to be strong enough to protect you '
" You can speak " Both said in harmony.
' No only you and Allen can hear me ' Katie and Annie were visibly surprised and not just him even Allen was shocked. He knew that some beasts who make a contract can speak through their minds. He was shocked to see that he was not only able to make a natural contract but also make a naturally contract with the other two siblings.
' Am I the cause ' He was confused as he not expected hawks to do this.
Allen had a lot of questions in his mind but thought that he would keep it for later.
All of them met and introduced hawks to the new family and showed him the farm as they road on his back. His feathers were very large and were of really good quality thus showing that he was a high tier beast. Allen was really a business minded person to think of making pens made of beast feathers.
They are really expensive as they are really rare and difficult to catch. Each can cost up to 1 silver. And they are normally used to make runes.
Hawks was now very strong and insanely fast. When he is just carrying just one person he can fly at an astounding speed of 300 km per hour ( 187 miles / hour ).
He is currently as fast as a black dragon. They are very strong creatures but are considered to be slow for a dragon. Ancient sky dragons are the fastest creatures with speeds of 800 km per hour (500 miles/hour).
Hawks was sure stronger and faster compared to normal half griffon beast and almost close to reach the strength of some weak griffons. Allen was sure that if he really evolves to his final form that is the Golden mystical Griffon he surely will be able to surpass the strength of a dragon.

currently Hawks and Allen are sitting on the rocks near the forest edge.
" How did you grow so strong ?"
' On the day we fought against the monsters when you started absorbing the core I ended up the aura that you were releasing. It was ten times more concentrated than the usual aura that you used to release and you had released for quite a long time. This caused my full body to be saturated by the energy. '
" Were you hurt by it? '"
' No not at all , it was the opposite. It felt like my body was being strengthened , But that was only in the beginning. '
"What do you mean ? " There was a frown on Allen's face. He never thought that he would end up hurting Hawks.
' It felt like there was too much energy which caused pain. As it increased I thought that I may hurt Katie and Annie as they are very clingy to me , After I settled in a cave in the other side of the forest my body started transforming. My bones were reforming and my body too. '
" How long did it take ?"
' It took around half an year .'
"Huu? Then why did you not return immediately "
' I started hunting other beasts to absorb their essence to become stronger and train.'
" You did learn the habit of training from me ... ha "
They both sat there and talked a lot before going back home. It was really a great experience. And now they have someone who has the strength to protect them all from small problems.
That day everyone had a small party and the kids ended up sleeping with Hawks. He really had soft feathers that could instantly put someone to sleep due to the comfort.
Allen now was thinking of having another beast and on ways to become stronger.
