Thomas was not part of the team in pursuit of his father. His cause was unknown.
Raj does not know where the voice came from. He lost his view of Thomas after the explosions.
Black scales now appeared more like petals, and they had unfolded into a circular calyx, above which danced a group of unlimited pale black lights.
Raj was caught in the middle of an explosion. Limiting his audition and vision.
The lights spun around a central vortex, leaving glowing trails in their mesmerizing wake.
"Surrender already."
It was impossible to keep track of any of them individually.
Every so often, one of the black lights would break away from the rest, as if it could not keep spinning with the others and fly off in some random direction.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH". Raj took the damage massively.

A pair of bumpy aura limbs sprouted from his hunched back, flailing around wildly as if controlled by some other mind. Reaching out his palms pointing to Thomas. Gathering energy in a main point in his hands.

Thomas can see his moves. Raj's movement became slower after taking the massive damage.
Raj fired.
Thomas dodged but the energy was following him.
He danced in the air dodging the energy following him like a homing missile.
"Darn it!"
His movements were delayed for a bit because he was not anticipating a homing attack. Left with no choice but to accept a direct hit. Thomas was thrown to the ground.
Raj was healing himself, stopping his bleeding wounds with his Quanta, with radiation radiating to the wounded area. Energy flowed within him surging waves, originating from its translucent elbows and ankles, coiling up over its robust, body.
A mysterious hit registered in him. He felt the heat melting.
"Do you think...?"
"Whatever..." Forcing his way to Raj.
Raj hopped within the speed of sound. He hit him. Then another one. Followed by seven consecutive attacks.
Chaotic sounds spread all over. A series of cracks and booms mixed with harsh metal sounds.
His eyes looked with terror and despair.
Thomas showered a crystallizing flickering blast. There was gold and then black. It was raining.
"That hurt me.". Rain.
Raj shielded it all, although he had taken a little damage from it but not enough to be felt.
"No match huh!?" The skies turned to yellow.
It was his powers.
As it rained like a waterfall from the skies.
Thomas vanished.

Like the other attacks, it was doomed and expected to be down. A notable epoch for the group was when they lost all the people in the area, leaving none but burning flames ashes, and puddles of crimson-red blood. A smell of defeat.
Raj was mumbling his talk out of the news.
"You see, what if I joined them?"
Raj was under surveillance and strict rehabilitation.
"Who knows what will happen?" Stella passes.
She smirked when Raj looked at him.
"I mean, I cannot visualize that wrath by myself, I don't even know I have these kinds of powers."
"Even the others didn't expect it. The ones who had those are just lucky. I don't even know why I'm here when my Quanta is not the same as the others.". Said Shield while eating his lunch.
He was unwell of the news and was constantly doubting what if he had brought Axel with him before he was caught. Nothing will change because Axel was there before he even met him the habits with him in the organization had chained him with his stand of belief. Of what is right or wrong or what is good or bad.
The Quad-Collider was already accelerating particles. No Quanta has yet been made it was already weeks.
The progress was visible, but it was taken too slow. Nature was always blurry in the experiments of this field even with the great minds the leading scientists are still confused about why the energy can be generated.
Axel gave some part of him as a specimen to make the experiment faster.
