'Dyings definitely not what I had in mind when the idol of my school invited me to her house but I guess there are some real crazies out there.'

"Hey Jake wanna work on the history project together."
I blushed seeing her acknowledge that I existed, after all she was the school's hots and smartest girl so who wouldn't feel awkward at first. Especially seeing as I'm an introverted person to start out with.
"Are you sure you aren't mistaking me for someone else Sophia?"
"Of course silly, whenever I partner up with someone else they never help with the project either ogling me or thinking I'll do it all just because I'm smart."
"Oh ok, no problem then."
Sophia walked away with a happy smile that was reflected on my own face and all I could think about was.
'She's so nice.'
After third period and at the beginning of lunch Sophia approached me again for some reason I felt more confident and less skewed this time.
"So Jake do you wanna go to my place or yours when we work on the project."
"Whatever makes you more comfortable Sophia."
After saying that she smiled again only this time it was different than last time. While still remaining that same sweet charm it now also held a sense of foreboding. Jake however brushed it off as his own introverted mind playing tricks on him.
"Okay then lets go to my place Jake."
"Jake smiled and nodded before sitting down to eat his lunch at his usual table."
Sophia went toward her own friends after hesitating for a moment seeming to despise wether or not she should sit with him. Jake was happy that she even thought about sitting with him but understood that she had her own friends.
'Four more hours and school will finally be over.'

The final bell ring after seventh hour and Jake walked towards the gates to wait for Sophia. Suddenly a commotion rang out just outside the school entrance. Sophia was being harassed by Bruce one of Jake's few constant tormentors. At the moment he was currently harassing Sophia.
"Come on Sophia let me do this project with you that stupid smuck Jake won't care."
"No Bruce all you do is sit around and ogle at my chest while I do all the work."
"Bruce you should leave her alone me and Sophia already planned the bases of our project."
A blatant lie but Jake hoped it would at the very least but him enough time for Sophia to get away from him.
"So what does that matter you useless introvert."
"Bruce leave him alone."
Yelled Sophia while Bruce advanced on Jake probably to hit him again. Bruce of course didn't like and instead turned and hit Sophia in the face nocking her to the ground.
Jake was angry no infuriated he could care less if Bruce hit him but seeing Bruce hit Sophia stirred something in him that he didn't know was even there. With a yell that contained his furyJake charged Bruce intending to hit him.
Hearing the yell Bruce turned to see Jake running at him but his only response was a snort and a chuckle.
Hearing this only made Jake angrier at the brute. And as he drew upon Bruce he swung with every last bit of strength he had.
Upon Jake's fist making contact Bruce stepped back stunned as a bloody tooth relinquished itself from his laughing mug.
"Did you just hit me runt."
"Yes I did you lossy good for nothing."
"Fine we'll do this like men tomorrow after school just you and me."
"O-Ok"
Jake managed to squeak out as the adrenaline left his system and his rationale kicked in.
"*hmph* come on Jake let's go work on our project."
With that Sophia grabbed Jakes hand and led him to a black Rolls-Royce parked out front.
"Madam."
The chauffeur said as he opened the door for me and Sophia.
"Thanks for standing up to him Jake that was really sweet of you."
Jake blushed while replying trying not to stumble over his own words.
"N-No problem S-Sophia."
Sophia didn't answer or comment on his blush or stuttering and chose to rather close her eyes and him a beautiful toon.

"We are here madam."
"Thank you Charles."
"No problem at all miss."
Looking out the window Jake saw a vibrant and lush driveway lined with intricately cut bushes mostly depicting fantasy creatures such as dragons, chimeras and more.
"It's beautiful isn't it Jake."
Jake replied 'Yes' absent-mindedly to which Sophia giggled breaking Jake's reverie.
"Okay so what do you want to do for our project."
"I thought we already figured that out."
Sophia giggled at his expression of betrayal.
"Don't look at me like that I was only joking."
Jake rubbed the back of his head as he followed Sophia into the manor.
For the rest of the evening they brainstormed topic ideas for their history project when finally it was time for Jake to head home.
"Hey Jake can I tell you something."
Turning around to answer Jake was surprised when she lunged at him and kissed him, but what surprised him even more was when she plunged a needle into his back.
Releasing his lips Sophia spoke with a euphoric and insanity filled smile.
"I can't let him hurt you tomorrow so we'll just stay together forever, right here in this very house."
Saying so Sophia dragged him up to the second story with that same crazy smile as he drifted off to sleep.

When he next awoke Jake was chasing to a bed post. Upon inspecting the chain it seemed to give him just enough slack to make it to a bathroom on the other side of the room, which wasn't quite enough for him to leave the room.
"Oh you're finally awake darling."
Jake turned and shook in fear seeing Sophia walk into the room from what he presumed was the hallway.
"Why are you afraid dearest please don't look at me like that."
At first she seemed on the verge of tears but that quickly turned into anger.
"I said don't look at me like that were supposed to be together forever."
With that said she charged him with a knife and stabbed him in the heart ending his existence.
