Matt pov-
I messed up. It All started when I turned twenty, that is when I was supposed to find my mate. I was in my first year of college. My friend Hannah had just found her mate. Her mate Seamus had just moved to our town from scotland. She found him on his first day of school. He walked up to ask her where the cafeteria was and when they looked at each other they could feel the connection. Seamus was twenty three and was beginning to think he was never going to find his mate.
Later that year I had still not found my mate and was starting to get worried. Seamus said that every one had someone that the goddess of the moon had meant for them and the reason i had not found my mate could be that they had not yet reached twenty or that they did not live in this town but we would be brought together by fate, that calmed me down.
It soon was the school year came to an end. The summer had started and I was hanging out with my friends. Soon it was zacks birthday and we were having a party. Him and his twin sister decided that they would have a joint party with both of their friends. Me, Tyler, Hannah and Seamus carpooled to the party. We were the first group to show up at the party because none of Zacks sisters friends were here yet. We were introduced to his sister who's name I learned was Elizabeth but she went by Lizzy or Izzy.
Izzy's first friend showed up soon after, Sam was the first person to show up from their group. Followed by Nick. I asked Izzy if she had anymore friends that were coming to the party and she said that she had one more friend coming and he would be here soon.
At last the final person knocked on the door. Izzy opened it to reveal a beautiful black haired, blue eyed man. He walked in and went around to all of the people and introduced himself and said hello to each person. I was the last in the room he walked up to me and when we made eye contact we didn't say anything and stared at each other rather confused.
Benji pov-
Today started like any other I woke up and got ready. I took a long shower, got dressed in black ripped jeans and a blue butler tee shirt. I have always been a big anime fan. I walk down the stairs to the kitchen and see my parents and little brother Danny already at the table. We eat breakfast together before I head out. I go to Nicks house. I walk in and see Nick and his blood mate still eating breakfast. I greet them and sit at the table with them.
"Are you excited for Lizzy's party today." I ask Nick.
" Yeah, I heard that Lizzy's twin brothers friends will be there so that should add some more fun to the party"
I nod while they go back to eating. My birthday was a couple of weeks ago. I always joke with Lizzy about how I am older than her. She always comes back with the fact that it is only by a few weeks. On my twentieth birthday I had to go to the manor owned by the vampire lord to see if any of the of age vampires were my blood mate. I found none of them were.
They finished their breakfast and Nick kisses his blood mate goodbye. We head to the store to get lizzy a present. Her party will be starting soon so Nick takes the present he picked out, buys it and heads out after I said I would meet him there. I look around some more and decided on a fresh set of paint brushes for her. I buy them and head to Lizzy's house.
After seeing all the cars I figure that I am the last to arrive. I knock one the door. Lizzy opens the door and lets me in. I walk around introducing myself to each of the people there that I do not know. Last I came to a big red haired green eyed fellow. I look him in the eyes to introduce myself to him but when our eyes meet a feeling of joy, comfort and completeness. I say nothing and stare at him confused while he does the same.
"What?" We question at the same time.
