Transportation between cities was always a top priority preparation for mortals in this world. Although Noire doesn't know the name of his current realm, he knew the cultivation culture was shared amongst all the lower planes so he didn't care.
Space Circles were the top luxurious ways of travel that royals and powerhouses enjoyed. After which comes flying treasures that are categorized in grades, and finally, mediocre transportation carriages mainly used by merchants.
Yue lived her life like a bird in a cage, so although Noire can afford some luxury now and then, he doesn't want her to miss out on the fun of experiencing travel. Another primary cause was his own curiosity about the power scale, obviously flaunting wealth would bring unwanted attention and he's now supposed to be a weak nobody who started cultivation.
Luckily, Indispensable Merchandise Faction was on a business tour around the four continents of this region. Noire's current realm consisted of Six Regions, each region had at least four continents under the monopoly of Royal Families.
From Becca, Noire learned that her vampire family was cornered at the edge of this continent. However, because they don't intervene in the power struggle, her royal family is having a somewhat stable life due to their 'farm'.
"Becca made some arrangements for us to meet with the Indispensable Merchandise Faction to join their journey," Noire briefly explained the plan to Yue on their way.
"Are they meeting us somewhere outside the city?" Yue asked in confusion as she glanced back at the Steep Snake city in the distance, then she looked forward at a lush forest ahead. The forest had faint signs of purple mist seeping from the grass and leaves, causing her to gulp some saliva.
"Factions with influence have their own pride and they won't stop to pick up a nobody in public," Noire sighed lightly before looking down at Yue.
"The information I gathered states that they're a side faction owned by the Yu household, one of the royal families on par with Becca's in strength. They're weak, but their connections are deep-rooted."
Yue could understand the concept of the arrogance of the wealthy, but she still has no idea what one has to do with two in this case.
If they can't pick us up in public, can't we just meet in a desolate area?...

On the other end about ten kilometers from Noire's position, a group of carriages led by mighty beasts was traversing at a moderate speed.
"Lady Yu, the Sect Master of Viper Mist Sect is currently waiting in his city for our arrival."
A robust middle-aged male gave a brief report from a jade-slip towards a woman who seemed to be in her twilight years of age. Next to the woman sat her daughter who had similar facial features yet way younger. Lady Yu Ran was one of many wives of Yu Juan, she had only one daughter of mediocre talent in cultivation that pales in comparison to her siblings from other wives.
And due to her mother's old age, the pair was always under the eyes of disdain and gossip wherever they went. Lady Yu didn't want her daughter to grow in a negative environment so she made arrangements to shelter her in a middle-class sect where she can be treated 'normally.'
Although the carriages looked fancy, the setup of the accompanying guards was laughable considering the name of the Yu Household. Lady Yu was unaware of it, but the trip is a conspiracy between the Yu household and the Vampire household to assassinate both Lady Yu and her daughter.
"Good," Lady Yu answered before placing her pale right hand on her daughter's left knee. She then smiled at her blonde child before speaking softly. "I promise I will visit you frequently in the future, don't blame me for making this decision, Ning'er."
"Don't touch me," Ning'er pushed her mother's palm aside before glaring daggers at her. "I never asked for your help, nor have I planed to cower in fear or shame. If you think I'll one day come back to claim whatever position in the industry, you're fucking delusional."

The guard felt a chill down his spine. The young mistress was always wild and fierce. Her base cultivation was similar to the other young masters but her aptitude was pale, she often spent twice if not thrice the resources for similar results. Whilst other young masters live a casual life, the mistress was always in sweat in order to keep up.
Everyone in the family acknowledged her as a waste of resources and lost hope. Even her mother deep down thought the same, so instead of encouraging her daughter, she thought of ways to persuade her from 'wasting' resources to avoid her husband's harsh treatment. As a mother, she was to blame for her daughter's actions.
"I know you're shipping me away for your own good and not mine, I can't believe you have the audacity to claim otherwise! Just wait, I will make you all regret this!"
Ning'er shouted in a low voice as her blue eyes were clouded. She wanted to throw another torrent of whatever she kept in her heart throughout her previous years before a stern shout came from outside.
"VAMPIRES!"
"HALT THE ADVANCEMENTS!!! MAKE A FORMATION!"
"W-what is going on?!" Lady Yu panicked, the guard didn't spare a moment before he dashed out of the carriage to confront the enemy assault.
On the other hand, Lady Yu gritted her teeth before turning to face her daughter to instruct her to escape and meet with the Sect Master.
"Nin- cough..." She turned her head before she noticed a cold object invade her windpipe, a warm substance slid over her pale skin drenching her cleavage and palace dress.
Lady Yu's eyes were filled with disbelief as her daughter took advantage of the situation to pierce a dagger through her own neck. Lady Yu had millions of words to spout yet only blood-mixed saliva left her cave, she couldn't believe the frantic look inscribed on her daughter's face, looking like someone who just achieved a long-desired dream.
The sound of slaughter and battle outside the carriage was nerve-wracking. Everyone outside was trying to protect Lady Yu whilst unbeknownst to them all, she long died before the battle even begun.
Ning'er was hastily taking the resources from her mother's space ring into her own whilst she emptied the treasure boxes as well. She planned to take advantage of the commission to leave the Yu household and chase her own path of cultivation.
A few kilometers away...
"It has begun, earlier than expected," Noire spoke in a nonchalant tone. He is meant to arrive at the last moment to save Lady Yu's life along with her daughter, then use the favor to gain somewhat of a foothold in this continent. As soon as he noticed the aftermath of the secret techniques traveling towards them, he gave quick orders to Yue before they both launched forward.
Yue has already shaped her own dantian with the cultivation technique given by Noire. She doesn't know its value, but because it came from the 6th dimension, her cultivation has been basically growing at twice the effect with half the effort. She mistakingly thought that her aptitude was actually good, but Noire didn't want to dump cold water over her head since no one would be able to figure out the truth.
