Katsu winces with closed eyes as he shields himself from the incoming attack. Calina throws herself at him, shielding him within her arms, as they plunge toward the ground. The beam, only a few inches away from them grazes her shoulder and shoots into the sky.
"—AGH!" Calina gasps as Crelylis' scythe is thrown into her backside.
"Bwahaha! You fell for it!~" Crelylis cackled as she pranced forward with a wide grin.
Katsu's eyes widen as his outfit starts to get soaked in a red liquid secreting from Calina's white blouse. Calina's eyes grow hazed as she turns around while heaving. She gets up from the ground, revealing the scythe that punctured into her back with the blade's sharp edge coming out the front of her chest.
