Chapter 1 - The Ghost of Elizabeth García Part 1

"Did you hear of Elizabeth García?"

"She made someone try to commit suicide!"

"Ghosts aren't real, you guys are talking about nonsense."

Elizabeth García was becoming a topic of our school. A rumor ghost who commits suicide in our school in 1967. A girl named Madison Anderson tried to commit suicide last week in the same way as Elizabeth García stabbing herself to death. Luckily, she saved after stabbing herself ten times.

People believed Elizabeth García possessed Madison Anderson. Others just believe that Madison Anderson is crazy and try to copy Elizabeth García. Few thought that someone was actually trying to kill Madison Anderson. Other than that all it was messy, people only had information that is rumors.

"Did you hear of the blog?" The surrounding people clearly did not know what she was talking about. "It is a blog that researches criminal profiling, the paranormal, old cold cases, and more. I heard she takes fan requests, maybe if she takes me I could meet her!"

...

Wait... A FAN! My blog is tiny, and I met no one who had seen it. I'm shocked. I stared at the girl across the lunch table. She barely noticed me, and neither did her friends. A...fan? I am glad; I guess. I continued to listen to their convection and by my blog. She talks tent girl, jack the ripper, and Hitler's Psychic all things I post about on my blog.

"I heard that there was an investigation at the school." A random remark from a boy in a group. I never heard of an investigation at our school.

Really, what worse timing I wanted to hear more about the group conventions. I got up to go to my next class 'Algebra 1' the class I hated the most.

***

My phone slowly was blowing up. It was the same people, but people were commenting and liking my blog posts. If my teacher does mind, why don't I inspect? I could see on my laptop that I liked it more. Someone donated one hundred dollars, thank you!

I could thank that girl from earlier for this, as she said before I did all the research I can on Elizabeth García. I looked up at the teacher again, who now looked like was going to go to sleep. I open a tab and look up Elizabeth García. As I scroll down a bit and pick the sixth article. As I looked through the article, there was nothing special about it.

Elizabeth García died at sixteen. Before her death, students and teachers were bullied because of her race. She was the first Mexican to get accepted to this school. She was smart and beautiful. During her autopsy cocaine and LSD in the system and all ten stabs to her stomach. She bled herself to death. What was the most interesting was the fact her suicide note was never since, but her parents confirmed it?

What did her note say? As I open up another table and searched for Elizabeth García suicide note. It was nothing mentioned about the note, but it was never a published copy of her note. It was never published? Why?

Maybe because I read too much suicide, but many people put their note on the news or the police published it somehow. Maybe it was lost on the internet or something, maybe I could get it from my family somehow.

Both parents died twenty years after their daughter's death in a car accident. As I keep on looking through the article, the death of the parents is suspicious a bit. Her father worked as a mechanic. He knew if his car was broken. Why didn't he know? Did he ignore it? There are no details on the car accident either, why?

A cover-up! Maybe a cover-up! Someone killed the parents to cover up something and was powerful enough for the police to ignore it. Cover up on Elizabeth García's death, maybe? They do not mention it in any article this could just be a crazy theory or I could be right.

This could be a logical answer maybe? As I looked for the death of Elizabeth García's parents, it was barely anything. Yes, the death was in 1987, but I really can't find that much, not a photo. It only mentions her parents in articles about Elizabeth García's suicide. I can't find a police report on her parents' death.

"Tiana!" My math teacher who I thought was sleeping just called my name. I walked towards him. "Please take your thoughts and go to the office," He whispered. It wasn't quite enough because I could feel the stares of my classmate all ready. As I walked towards my desk, I could see people were whispering to each other. I grabbed my backpack and one of my classmates looked like they were trying to ask me something but I didn't hear it.

I opened the door to leave my math class happy I could leave but was nervous about going to the office. What did I do? I caused no trouble before, maybe a few comments, but nothing anyone would hear. Maybe it is about Madison Anderson? I noticed I was already at the office door that fast. I was deep in thought.

When I entered the office that was never that busy it seemed to be overwork yet the same as usual. I continued to walk to the front desk, the lady who always noticed when someone was there could even see me now. "Hello?" I could see that I surprised her when I was there.

"Tiana Bello?" She asked me.

"That me." I felt like what would happen after this would cause trouble, eventually.

"Please this way," The office lady was walking me down a hall. The passersby glance at us, time to time. Someone would stare for a while. I felt like the hall was getting longer and smaller as we kept going. "Where here?" The hall still felt small but got a little bigger, I was calming down a bit. The lady just opened the door, not telling me anything, but I could guess she wanted me to go in.

I could see five people in the small room. All of them have serious expressions, those are probably the people who are investigating this ghost at the school. "Hello, Tiana," a tall man with blond hair and blue eyes was the first to speak. "Were from P.B.I, we want to ask you some questions, is that okay?"

I shook my head as my answer. "When was the last time you spoke to Madison?"

"I spoke to her for a school project probably three hours before she stabbed herself, I think."

"Did you know if she had any enemies?"

"I wouldn't know, I only spoke to her for a group project and when she needed help in the library."

"Who you know if she had an interest in ghosts?"

"No."

"What about Elizabeth García? What do you know about her?"

"She is a ghost and died from stabbing herself?"

"Have you seen her or know anyone who has seen her?"

"Not sure actually." Actually, I never saw her before, I heard of her but never actually tried to draw her before. Considering my abilities, I thought I would have seen her by now.
