"Hey, Doc!" Alan called over to him.
"What do you want, Damocles?" He sighed, not taking his eyes off what he was doing.
"Well- I finished this batch of eggs to be used. So you're gonna look it over so we know I didn't make any mistakes, right?" He queried.
Turning to face him, Dr. Jameson blinked and gave him a warm smile, "Alan, you're the best student I've seen in years. I'm sure it's flawless now go put it with the the others for use."
Listening to the Doctor, he set them down with the rest of the completed eggs. He was worried the Doctor's faith in him was misguided.
But, he had to trust Doc's confidence in him and not worry about it too much.
These eggs would be used for our future society, they were genetically engineered to be close to perfection. If he made a mistake it would cause a ruckus when something about the child it's used to make is off, but there was nothing he could do now because Doc said to leave it.
Suddenly a story was born. A little blip in the system made chaos. With Markus Chambers and Calvin Parham innocently caught in the middle of it all.
