"Yeah, Jacob told me last night but he didn't go into detail." Angela looked at Mary sheepishly. Shame because the woman in front of her had seen Angela staying at her son's house. Mary, who saw Angela timidly, smiled faintly.
"I will tell you everything. Humph." Mary took a deep breath. It was as if a big secret that had been kept to herself for so long, would soon be revealed to other people who were not her family.
"Since Jacob was in the womb, everything was normal like other babies. I didn't feel any weirdness when I was pregnant with him. However, something strange happened when Jacob was born. He didn't cry at all. But his breathing was regular and there was no sign of him being swallowed by amniotic fluid. All the doctors and nurses at that time tried very hard to make him cry. However, he still didn't want to cry at all." Mary stopped her story for a moment, taking a sip of the drink provided on the table.
"Then we gave up. As long as his life isn't in danger and all his organs are normal, we don't think the initial cry when the baby is born for Jacob is important anymore." Mary stood looking for a comfortable position for her to sit. And, the woman who is still beautiful in her middle age, finds a rocking chair as the most comfortable place to talk at this time. Angela leaned her back on the sofa she was sitting on.
"Little Jacob was different from the other kids. Since the age of 5 years, his body will shiver with cold every 15th of the month. The only thing we could do was, bring him closer to the fire and cover him as thickly as possible. He would suffer from cold from 12 pm to 12 pm again. Huh. Poor child. Sometimes he would have a really bad nosebleed because he couldn't stand the cold."
"Has he ever been taken to a doctor for treatment? Maybe acupuncture or herbs?" Angela tries to come up with a solution that Jacob's parents probably haven't done yet.
"We have tried all kinds of treatment. And, the last time we took him to an acupuncturist in China. They said there was a way to keep Jacob from suffering from the cold again. Namely, finding a woman who has a warm body in all conditions and must have blue eyes." Mary replied then.
"Why… have to be blue-eyed?" Angela frowned in surprise.
"According to the acupuncturist, the aura emitted by the blue-eyed woman has a warmth that women with other eye colors don't have. Just by touching, the cold in his body will disappear. Therefore, Jacob has had many approaches with blue-eyed women but none of them have worked. Mary remembered a time when Jacob was introduced to a blind date with some blue-eyed women.
"I see, so now what do you want to say madam?" Angela felt that she had not digested all of this properly. It was all so sudden and never crossed her mind, there was such a kind of illness.
"Marry my son. We will give you what you want. I just want my son not to dying every 15th. Me and his dad …"
"Just a moment. Married? Huh, I never imagined getting married in the near future. Sorry madam, I can't. Looks like, that's enough for our conversation. I have to go back home. I haven't gone home for two nights. Excuse me madam." Angela bowed forty-five degrees and left Mary alone in the reading room.
"Angela…" Jacob watched Angela left the room in a hurry.
"Sorry, I'm not allowed to come to work today. I must go home. Excuse me." Angela said goodbye without making eye contact with Jacob, who had just come out of the kitchen.
"Angela, wait." Jacob was half running after the woman who had slept all night holding him tightly to give him warmth.
"What did my mother say? Please don't mind. I'm not asking you to do anything but pay off your debt for the next eight years." Jacob managed to grab Angela's hand and whisper in her ear.
"I won't forget that. Tomorrow I will go back to work." Angela let go of Jacob's hand and ran out of the house toward the gate.
"What did mom really say?" Jacob muttered.
"You've found your cure, son. She's the one you've been looking for all this time. Now it's just how you try to convince her to always be by your side, at least every 15th." Mary came out of the reading room and looked at her son who was standing still looking out of the house, where Angela's image had not yet disappeared.
"Mommy, you don't have to meddle in my business. I will find a solution in my own way. Last night I didn't have a nosebleed because Angela had slightly reduced the cold in my body, although not completely." Jacob left Mary alone and the man with thick black hair climbed the stairs to his room on the second floor.
"Humph, Jacob. You know you need her. But, you don't dare to take a direct step. How long are you going to endure the suffering of this cursed disease? "Mary sighed heavily and sat on the sofa in the living room there.
"What kind of disease is that? Why is there a cold like an iceberg only every fifteenth? Did he get some kind of curse?" Angela muttered alone all the way to her house accompanied by Jacob's car and his private driver.
"I do not want to know. My only job is to pay off debts by working for eight years without a salary, by becoming his personal assistant. Not as his wife. Tch! Don't expect to take a chance from me." Angela thought.
After Angela left the house, Jacob soaked himself in the bathtub with warm water. His body was still a little weak because last night even though Angela had helped warm his body, the cold still spread in several joints of his body. Jacob had been soaking for a long time until he finally fell asleep and the sound of his cell phone woke his subconscious.
"Good morning sir, sorry, did you come to the office today?" Anto, who has been busy from the morning with meeting schedules, meeting business partners, and taking care of contract letters, felt the need to make sure his boss would come to work or not because of the many documents that required his signature.
"I came in at 12. Just have all the documents I need to sign on the table. By the way, Anto, Angela is not allowed to come to work today. Tomorrow she'll be back in." Jacob ended the call and continued his bathing ritual. While on the other end of the phone, Anto was silent, unable to do anything when he found out that Angela was absent from work. Even though today there are two schedules to meet new clients that have been prepared in advance. Antonio took a deep breath.

"Angela, you are finally home too. Where did you sleep these two nights?" Sally, who was gardening, saw her daughter had just arrived delivered by a luxurious black car, immediately walked quickly to his only daughter.
"I'm staying at a friend's house, mommy. Today I am not allowed to come to work because I am not feeling well." Angela went straight to her room, having previously hugged her beloved mother who looked very worried.
