Bella never stopped looking at Zale's handsomeness the whole way. It's not that Zale doesn't know but he pretends not to know so that this girl with blue eyes won't be embarrassed. Bella's parents saw their daughter as if she was very fascinated by Zale's appearance, could only shake their head.
