The dinning table was filled with the Princes, the Princess and her friends. They ate, joked and laugh, it wasn't their first time they ate without their parents but it surely one of the best alone time.
Selene clapped her hands together seeking for attention "Alright everyone, now to important matters at hand", she said mischievously as she looked at Henry.
"A bird told me that our elder Brother will be getting married very soon", she shouted getting a look of surprise around the table.
"ohh come on, why the shocked faces, don't tell me am the only one who knows this", she asked sipping her wine.
Everyone was quiet looking everywhere but Henry. No one wanted to meet his angry glance.
"Really, Philip, can you close your stupid mouth. You are the one who told me, so why are you acting all surprised?", Selene asked.
"wow. You don't say. I was completely surprised" Philip said.
"where did you hear that from huh", Henry screamed.
Everyone was quiet
"I asked a question. I want someone to answer"
"I just overheard Mom and Dad discussing about it. And I told Selene", Philip answered.
"it's not true. I don't want you all spreading stupid rumors. Am not getting married anytime soon",Henry shouted.
He was about to rant again when he saw a notification go off on his phone. He took his phone and read the message. Seeing who the message was from made him calm. He wanted to smile but realized the kind of people around him. He stood up and left the dinning room to attend to other matters.
"Really Selene, couldn't you keep it to yourself", Philip asked angrily
"What? I thought by now everyone knew", she defended herself.
James was deep in thought as he asked "Was I the only one who find something wierd with Henry, and the fact that he goes out a lot and stays out for long"
"Maybe there is a girl", Jeremy answered.
"A girl? We would have heard about it by now. Which girl out there haven't we fucked yet?" Philip added.
"ohhh I forgot Straight and bent. No offense Lexa, I don't sleep with lesbians especially the ones who are interested in my sister. But I would love to see some actions, not with my sister tho", Philip said smirking.
" thanks Philip. But I am not interested in your sister. But when I start dating, I will surely give you the invite", Lexa commented.
Serene felt offended by Lexa choice of words, that she's not interested in her. She didn't know why she felt that way but decided to smile with everyone.
"But straight", Philip said looking at Jennifer. "Whenever you want me to tap, just know that am around", he added seductively.
"mmm I will hold you up for that", Jennifer replied.
"ewwww guys stop that. Philip no, you ain't sleeping with my best friend. Never." Selene shouted with disgust.
They laughed about it, forgetting about the other brother.

Melda sat on the couch of the apartment Henry got for them. Earlier she sent a message to Henry asking for them to meet and talk. Even if he agrees or not, there's no way she will allow him to control her life and decisions anymore.
The door to the apartment opened as Henry walked through with all smiles. He went towards Melda hugging and kissing her all over her face. Melda laughed as she kissed him back.
"Love, I missed you so much. Am sorry about the last time. Forgive me", Henry said.
"All forgiven, I missed you more", Melda said as she kissed him once more.
They got seated as Henry kept talking about his day, his annoying Siblings especially his bastard brothers who keep getting on his nerves at all time.
"So you wanted to talk, what's wrong", He asked
"Well, i got offered a new job", She said with happiness.
"And what is it this time? Cleaning? Which restaurant or is it a diner this time round. What so good about this jobs that you get excited over. I already told you to stop working and I will take care of you. Didn't I? When I tell you something you don't even listen to me. ", Henry ranted with anger.
" wow, does it bother you that much that I do those kind of work? For your information, that's what I do and I will continue to do it. And yes, it's a cleaning job and this time it will be inside your house", Melda said.
"My house? What the hell are you talking about ?" Henry asked.
"My Mom used to work for someone before she got sick. The Madame of the house wants me to replace my mom. And the pay is very good. I can do only that job and still sustain my family"

Henry stood up with anger "you idiot. Reject that offer. What? You call this an accomplished? So what, your Mom was a maid in the Palace and you are glad to fill her shoes. You are happy to do such a lowly work? I am very disappoi....
The only sound that could be heard was that of a slap. Henry touched his cheek as he stared at Melda.
"you slapped me?", Henry asked, surprised.
"And I will gladly do it again. Don't you ever insult my Mom again. That lowly job is what kept my family alive. Not everyone was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. I am going to do that job whether you like to or not. It's my life and not yours. If you don't want to be seen with a maid, then I suggest you let me be. Am done", Melda shouted as she walked out of the house angrily.
Henry stood there looking at the door. Expecting it to open. He sat down and still had a hand over his cheek, as he rubbed over it. He was so angry. The thought of the fact that Melda is going to be in the same house with his Siblings just pisses him off.
He stood up and left the room
