None of the attacks hit Emanuel that he was about to use his vines when Malcom, jumping with speed, kicked the mage's face making him crash against the wall.
In a fraction of seconds, a huge sharp bone passed close to his face forcing him back and turning the dagger into a sword, and he began to defend himself from the attacks that Bones made.
Bones would smile when he saw him back off and said, "You've improved before. You would have pounced on me like a madman... Maybe you know you can't hurt me!"
But Malcolm, with the speed of his treasure, arrived again right in front of Bones and, using one of his cards, activated an iron maiden.
Bones did not move at all to avoid the attack, but he was surprised by the harshness of the maiden.
Malcom's attacks did not usually have that intensity, and it was still not enough to penetrate his defense.
