One might be confused seeing the way Adrian has reacted just now but there is a strong reason for it and that has everything to do with the main quest.

"I'm gonna change my race? System if I take it,will I completely turn into a vampire? I'll start craving for blood?" Adrian's expression changed at that.

The host will indeed completely change into a Vampire.
The system has given the purest Heart blood essence of the Vampire Originator to the host.

So host doesn't need to worry about craving for blood unnecessarily and loosing his mind with madness and extreme desire.
The host will be completely normal just like a human but gaining the Vampire racial abilities and talents]

The host's entire body will undergo an evolution from an imperfect race like a human being into one of the most perfect lifeforms that ever existed The vampire Originator.
So not only the host's body but even the host's soul will have to undergo evolution.
If the host cannot hold on during the racial transformation there is a chance for the soul being annihilated which leads to death.

Ok system retrieve Ancient Vampire Originator's Blood essence,Racial transformation pass and the permanent Sound isolation talisman".
He then saw a vial containing blood red liquid,An ancient parchment emanating ancient aura and a Scroll that looked like a normal paper appear in front of him.
Adrian quickly used inspect on these items.

The heart blood essence of a terrifying being that is once known as the Vampire originator and also the creator of the vampire race.
Upon his death his heart blood essence was preserved in this vial with utmost care.
Upon consumption there is a 1% chance to gain the Vampire originator's bloodline and accept his complete inheritance to become the new Originator of the Ancient Vampire race.
Upon failure to become the inheritor of the Vampire Originator the soul and body will be destroyed.

He then used inspect on the ancient parchment

"Well even with this it can Only increase to seventy....percent...I still have a 30℅ chance to die....This is a bit too much for me to handle..."
He then used inspect on the last item.

A scroll that can be used to cut off any sound waves or Astral qi or any form of energy from leaking out when it is under effect within the maximum range of 1 km.
The range can be adjusted according to the user's comfort.
It can be used infinitely

'This is quite a handy thing with it a lot of troubles can be solved in the future'.
Adrian ate some food and fed the mutant cat to it's content and let it fall asleep.
He then came to the bathroom and jumped into the bathtub which is filled with cold water.
He took out the Sound isolation talisman and adjusted it's range to just the bathroom not wanting to disturb the mutant cat's sleep.
He then took both the Blood vial and the race transformation pass.
He opened the vial and gulped down the heart Blood essence and quickly activated the racial transformation pass.
The Racial transformation disintegrated into fragments and slowly revolved around him going to enter his body.
He didn't feel much during the first few minutes but slowly started to get the feeling that his body is heating up.
He can feel his body temperature increasing at a rapid pace.
He gritted his teeth and held on.
Slowly the temperature has reached a level where even the cold water started getting hot.
He turned on the shower to let cool water to pour upon him Continously.
Then Adrian felt some bone searing pain as if his entire body is being crushed down by something or a beast is chewing his body when he is alive and concious.
"Ahhh!~~ F**king hell! it hurts!
Ahhh!~~ it f**king hurts! shit! shit!

He held his head as it also started aching as if someone was hammering his head so as to
break his skull".
"Shit! Shit! this is hell! Dammit!
f***ing blood essence!
Shitty system you piece of trash!
Why didn't you give me any item that numbed my sense of pain!!"
"Hell!!~~ Ahh~~ even a pain killer would do!!!

He gritted his teeth and bit his lips to hold on to his consciousness,blood flowed from his lips.
His bones made cracking sounds and his body structure slowly started to change.
His skin started changing into pale red color and black liquid started oozing out from his entire body with a pungent odour.
This must be the impurities in his body.
He can feel many new changes in his body.
His entire Human skeleton is now changing into a completely new one.
This is what we probably call shedding a mortal body.
Adrian didn't know how much time it took he slowly adapted to the pain and soon even the pain was gone.
By then he could barely keep himself awake.
Once the pain was gone he lost his consciousness immediately.
Don't know how much time it took before he could open his eyes he could hear someone calling him.
"Ok? ok? are you ok?
hey you hear? you dumb contract master?
have you become an idiot?
Wake up! Wake up!"
"Ugh....who the f**k is calling me....shit.... it fucking hurts". Adrian tried to wake up but his entire body hurt.
He took some rest and slowly started getting up removing the sound isolation talisman and walked upto the bathroom door.
Once he opened it he could see the mutant cat looking at him with tears in it's eyes.
"Dumb master is finally awake!
You aren't dead! you aren't dead!"
The mutant cat walked up to him and rubbed it's head to his tall naked leg.
"Wait a minute since when did my legs become so long ?"
Adrian was stunned.
He then went in front of the mirror in a hurry.
