The Mosasaur came crashing down, dragging chunks of the mountainside with it. The trapped Gorgon guard reached out to Serenity right before a boulder crushed him. Blood instantly spread out in the water, sending the Mosasaur into a frenzy.
If Matt wouldn't have grabbed her, Serenity would've been crushed with him before they had a chance to get away. He hated abandoning the man-shrimp, but Serenity came first..
