Serenity stared at Matt a few moments, dumbstruck by what he'd asked. The thought hadn't even occurred to her, and she honestly didn't understand how he'd even conceived it as a possible option.
The way that the gods had spoken about it; home or death were their only two options.
Serenity swallowed hard, trying to maintain her calm as she sputtered; "What? Why? W-Why would you ask that?"
Matt looked at her with an unfamiliar, placid expression; "Because it's the only way that we get to actually Live after all of this is through."
Serenity exhaled deeply; "I've already told you that Poseidon said that we'll go back-"
"To what, exactly? A slightly different watery grave?! When we came here, we were Literally about to die. IF we can even win, what exactly is it that you Think we're going back to?!"
