Serenity could barely control the surge of power coursing through her. Every nerve in her body felt like it was being seared from the inside out. That, coupled with the intensity of the pressure made it feel like she was being slowly tortured to death.

As they swam through the hallways, Serenity and Matt kept their eyes open for any sign of Selena. They couldn't open each door and look in because it would take too long, but they were making enough noise to where she should hear them..
