"Matt?! Matty?!" Serenity called out as he bounced off of the hospital room floor.
The moment Matt had woken up, he'd gone off in search of Serenity. It was a sweet gesture, but also very stupid to the nurse. He was one of the three brought in unconscious, and had been in a coma for three days; the same as Serenity and one other.
The first person had woken up about five days ago, while Serenity and Matt had woken up minutes apart. It had shocked the nurse to see him hobble in, kiss the overjoyed women that she was tending to, then collapse. She had been in charge of their care for her shift, and had just checked on Matt about twenty minutes ago.
His vitals hadn't changed, nor his brain wave patterns. The other patient had just checked out yesterday, so Matt had woken up to an empty room. The nurse found it strange that he didn't hit his call light, but his mind was obviously on something else.. Or rather someone.
