Serenity wasn't sure how long she was out for. When the Kraken had dragged her away, she'd smacked the back of her head on a rock, and instantly saw stars, then nothing. When she came to, it was to the sound of children sniffling and crying slightly, and Selena calling out her name.
As her eyes fluttered open, Serenity saw a minuscule amount of light coming in through holes in a ridiculously high ceiling. Then, it was all blotted out by a panicked Selena. Slowly lifting Serenity forward, she hugged her like she hadn't seen her in years.
A few of the children calmed down, seeing the two smile, but most were still lightly crying. Selena was doing her best to keep them quiet, but every time the baby Kraken moved, they screamed. It had attacked them once, but Selena used her vortex sword on it's tentacle, and scared it away.
