Serenity smiled and laughed at Matt as she said; "That would be awesome, but I don't think that will work.. If we do win without killing her, like if she surrenders or something: what do we do with her?"
"Everyone's talked about the Charybdis coming like there's no chance of us winning without the worst case scenario happening. I mean, do we even get an option? Or does the planet Have to be on the brink?"
Matt stared at Serenity with a dumbfounded expression, unsure of how to answer her. They had been told that the Charybdis' prison was deteriorating. That if they didn't fulfill the prophecy, the Charybdis would eventually break free anyway, but there would be no one to stand against it then.
