Serenity couldn't put her finger on why or how she knew, but an instinct within her told her that the voice she was hearing was the Primordial God himself. As the light rushed towards her, Pontus spoke again..
"The Kraken is a Mother before anything else. Save the child, and you complete your final Labor. A Mother's love runs deeper than you think it does. Do not take that bond lightly, or you will be left with a single option.."
With his voice fading, Serenity asked one question; "Am I really strong enough to save everyone?"
Right as the light shined too brightly to look at, Pontus replied; "You are what you believe you can be.."
The brightness became so overwhelming that her head became dizzy. The next think Serenity knew: she was in the middle of a torrent. Flashes of memories passed in front of her mind's eye as she tried to steady herself.
