"How far?!" Matt called out as he had Bismuth circle around.
The guard was still trying to catch his breath as he sputtered; "Not far.. Most of them are swimming, but the Siren Queen and he guards are riding Bull Sharks. They went through the Selkies' territory with no resistance.. They'll be upon the palace within the next twenty minutes.."
Serenity thought for a split second, then asked; "You said a small army, right? No Kraken? No Siren hordes?"
The guard shook his head as he swallowed hard; "No, my Queen. There's about four dozen Gorgons and Sirens, plus the Queen and her Royal Guards. No Kraken or hordes."
Serenity looked at Matt with a worried expression as she said; "She's not coming here.."
Matt nodded; "She's trying to beat us to the Edifice...We have to get there first!"
